Since its accidental creation by an Algerian priest in 1902 -- who grew a hybrid of mandarin and seville oranges -- the seedless, succulent sweetness of the thin-skinned clementine has been enchanting senses around the globe. To both mimic that singular scent and add a heady new twist, it started with a crisp orange base and was layered with smooth vanilla, warm and creamy tonka beans, and just a touch of fragrant spice.
