This exquisite piece of art glass has been recreated in a limited edition of 150. Handmade from the highest quality lead crystal, it is a re-edition of a nineteenth century French Chinoiserie tea-holder. This extraordinary version features an ombré color technique that creates a graduated shade from amber to cinnabar red, hung with a silk tassel. The seductive perfume is composed with a number of black, white, and golden gingers tempered with galangal and krachai. Sensual and spicy, when the candle is finished, the vessel will remain a treasure. Throughout Asia, the tonic effects of ginger are well-known and have a wide variety of uses. Ginger-root is said to act as an aphrodisiac. Born below the surface of the earth,these golden roots burst into plume-like red flowers which have inspired the ombre technique used in the creation of this exquisite piece.
